Arrival & access
The villa sits on the Gialasi hillside in old (Palaia) Epidavros. From Athens it's about two hours by car via the Corinth Canal; we'll send a pinned map and the gate details a few days before you arrive. There's private parking at the house for two cars.
The house
A main kitchen on the upper floor and a kitchenette on the lower floor (plus an outdoor kitchen by the pool), air-conditioning in every room, smart TVs and fast Wi-Fi throughout. The pool is heated on request — let us know ahead so it's warm for your first morning. The open-air cinema lives on the veranda off the living room; you'll find the projector remote and a short how-to in the dining drawer.
Down to the sea
It's a ten-minute walk downhill to the organised pebble beach at Gialasi — sunbeds, a cantina for coffee and lunch, and clear, calm water. Wear something on your feet for the pebbles, and take a hat; the path home is uphill and the afternoon sun is honest. Snorkels and beach towels are in the pool-level store.
The theatre
In summer, the Great Theatre of Epidaurus stages drama and music under the open sky — about thirty minutes inland. It's one of the great experiences of the Peloponnese; book ahead, as the best nights sell out. The Little Theatre in old Epidavros is a shorter drive and lovely at dusk. Tell us your dates and we'll help you find seats.
Around
The village is minutes away for tavernas, a bakery and the morning essentials. When you feel like a day out, the whole Argolid is within reach.
Practical
Anything at all — a late arrival, a transfer, a dinner reservation, a private chef — write to us and we'll arrange it. In an emergency, dial 112 (the European emergency number). We're never far.
